All
relationships offer us the opportunity for personal and spiritual growth.
The universal law of karma necessitates a meeting in our present incarnation
with the consequences of our past-life behaviour towards others. Karma
can manifest through friendships, marriage partners, business partnerships,
teacher and pupil, employer and employee, parent and child, healer and
patient, next-door neighbours and even casual meetings.
Prior
to re-birth, we choose the group of people we must incarnate with, in
order to fulfil certain karmic requirements. Thus, we re-meet those people
and they us, sometimes for many lives, until those dynamics are exhausted
and evolved beyond.
The
purpose of every relationship is to help us to grow by learning from our
previous mistakes. As our life unfolds we attract whom we need at a time
when we are ready to understand.
