The birth chart discloses the secrets of our life plan, which is essentially a healing journey involving a number of lessons. The lessons keep repeating, but occasionally we may have to experience ill health to more fully awaken, or as a side effect of the process of awakening.

Our body is essentially a mirror of our consciousness. Physical disharmony has its origins in emotional traumas, destructive relating, fixed thought patterns and many other conditions of fear. It may have occurred as far back as past incarnations, when we failed to be consciously aware of our inner conflict. Alternatively we may have been unwilling or unable to address it, or may not have dealt with it thoroughly.

Health issues can also be telling us that in some way we are trying to go against the plan our soul has for us in the present life. If we repeatedly cover the same ground we have travelled in former lifetimes, we become unbalanced and are unable to release the vibrant energy that is available to us in the present incarnation.

Sometimes the experience of health challenges or physical disabilities may be the only way we can effectively align with our current life intention. This is especially the case if we have repeatedly overlooked self-care for many lifetimes or emphasised others' needs. By having to focus on our personal needs in this way we are balancing out the past and moving into a new way of being.

Depending on the nature of the imbalance, the disorders can be minor, major, acute or chronic. The key to our healing lies in seeing the larger plan and unfolding perfection of our lives, and in changing our scripts which are essentially negative judgements about ourselves. In this way we re-connect to our higher nature and become increasingly balanced on all of levels of being.

Lastly, the process of awakening itself may bring on physiological disorders. As we become aware of a deeper reality and experience a heightened state of consciousness our dense body can manifest ailments as a process of purification.
